my little princess! kristie?

well this morning we were getting ready to go see memaw and papa, i was getting my hair done. josie LOVES to dress up so after i got her ready and was getting myself ready she went to the playroom to play. as you can see she got all dressed up and came to show me! she is so funny- most who know josie know that she has "other" names some days. for the most part she is callie or "cayee" as she has always said. but these days you never know. so this morning when she came down all dolled up i told her how beautiful she was and that the was the prettiest little princess josie i had ever seen! she then told me she was kristie, so of course i played along, but even when we put it all up and got in the car to go i said something to josie and she didn't say anything for a second and reminded me she didn't know josie but kristie was in the car! what a little nut!

My little pumpkins!

more pumpkins! i had the two cutest pumpkins following me around on halloween! we had fun visiting friends, grandparents, & great grandparents on halloween! the girls loved trick or treating and abby even went on a hayride to the "scary barn" as she calls it! josie wanted to go SOOO bad and we had to tell her it was too scary and she could do it when she was a little older (boy do i remember that phrase being the younger sibling) well abby assured her she should be glad she didn't go because it was so scary she cried "just a little". they had lots of fun and lots of candy!

pumkin time!

we love our annual trip to the pumpkin patch- this year i think we made 3 or 4! it is always fun the play in the pumpkins and fill the wagons up! we went one day in our pumpkin dresses to make pictures for grandparents and then we went one afternoon with our cousin luke and even went back and made some pictures one saturday morning with dad!

fall break

i have some catching up to do - as usual. i have been meaning to post our fall pictures for quite some time now. on abby's fall break we got to "finish out" our florida trip that got cut short this summer. and thankfully we had our last doctors visit with the cardiologist the day before we left. as far that that is concerned all the doctors agree that they think it was all related to her growth spurt. and as we visited doctors and they measured her everytime i was in disbelief. she did grow 2 inches in a little over two months. so with the good report we were off to florida for some family fun! we had so much fun! we put the girls to bed at home and then around midnight put them in the car and drove through the night. that went unbelieveably well. they slept until we woke them up around 6 a.m. for a breakfast stop. at that point we were almost there. we spent the next three days just playing at the beach. we are sold on florida in the fall! the weather was perfect. we saw more sea life than we ever had before. the girls probably found more than 30 hermit crabs. we saw dolphins all day every day we were there. we caught a good size fish and abby even go bitten by a crab! the girls still ask when we can go back. it was the most relaxed trip we had taken!

All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth!

i have the cutest toothless little girl! tuesday night abby lost het other front tooth! she was so funny. everytime she looses one she says "that didn't hurt at all next time i won't be nervous!" and of course the next time she is a little nervous. it was so time for the tooth to come out and she has pulled all the other ones. i was playing bunko that night and hoped she would pull it before i left. she didn't, but when i got home it was gone. ryan said she was nervous so he was "doing cheers" (wouldn't you love to see that) to make her laugh. he finally said open your mouth and count to 10 and it will be gone. he said she looked at him and said "can we pray first?" she prayed that God would help her be brave and make it not hurt. then ryan prayed he prayed it wouldn't hurt either - he thought she would never trust him again if it did! she closed her eyes and counted and it was gone! they were both so happy!

Safari Park!

today was so much fun! jason, misti, my mom and i took all the kids to the safari park in crockett county. who knew somthing so fun was just around the corner! we all loved it. the drive through part was a lot of fun- you could see all the animals really well and some of them were so close you could reach out and almost touch them. there were so many unusual animals. the kids were amazed. after the drive through part, we parked and got to pet and feed some other animals. we got the give bottles to sheep, baby goats, & a baby camel. the giraffe was SO funny. the only one that would really feed the giraffe was abby. we laughed and laughed. it's tongue was so long and josie and luke were not crazy about that! there were talking birds, a monkey that would reach it's tail out and try to grab you with it, hiennas, and tiniest baby goat i have ever seen! well worth the short trip!

CHOO CHOO!

misti and i took luke and josie to eat lunch on the train car downtown and visit the train depot. they had a lot of fun eating on the dining car together and they loved the model train inside. they even got to "drive" it.! they are two cute conductors!
